CRUBIT LTD (“we”, “us”) provides a web app that lets signed-in users paste a YouTube URL and ask questions about that video using Google's Gemini API.
You must be 18+.
Sign-in is via Clerk. Keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices and plan limits are shown at checkout (via Stripe).
Taxes and currency conversion (if any) are shown by Stripe. Strong Customer Authentication may apply.
We may change plan features, minute allowances, or pricing at any time. Changes will apply from your next billing cycle. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes to pricing or allowances. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Our pricing reflects third-party AI processing costs. If our provider costs increase significantly, we may need to adjust allowances or pricing with reasonable notice to maintain service quality.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any plan tier (including the free tier) at any time with reasonable notice. Existing paid subscribers will retain access through the end of their current billing period.
Subscription allowance: Each paid plan includes a monthly minute allowance for processing/asking about videos. Unused subscription minutes do not carry over to the next billing period and reset at the start of each new billing cycle.
Metering: We meter usage in seconds and round up to the nearest second (aggregated to minutes for display).
Top-ups: You may purchase additional minutes (“Top-ups”) that are prepaid, non-refundable, and expire 12 months after purchase if unused. Top-up minutes are consumed after your subscription allowance is exhausted. We may send expiry reminders as a courtesy.
Exceeding allowances: If you run out of minutes, you'll need a Top-up or to wait until your allowance resets.
Fair use: We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that materially degrade service quality or attempt to bypass limits.
Cancel anytime in-app; cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.
Cooling-off (consumers in the UK/EU): You have 14 days from purchase to cancel. By starting the service during this period, you request immediate supply and acknowledge that (a) we'll charge a pro-rata amount for what you used, and (b) Top-ups are digital content supplied immediately and are non-refundable once available in your account.
Except where required by law, we don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods.

Answers are generated by Google Gemini based on your prompts and the YouTube URL/context you provide. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions. You remain responsible for how you use outputs.
We query the YouTube Data API only for public metadata (e.g., video duration) when you provide a URL.
By using our service you also agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service.
If we later offer Google account linking, you'll be able to revoke access via Google's security settings.
Payments are processed by Stripe; sign-in is provided by Clerk; AI generation is provided by Google Gemini. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
We don't claim ownership of your prompts/conversations. You grant us a limited licence to process them to provide, secure, and improve the service (see Privacy Policy). Our software, branding, and materials are owned by us or our licensors.
We respect IP rights. If you believe our service facilitates infringement, email legal@askyourvideo.io with: (i) identification of the work; (ii) relevant URL(s); (iii) your contact details; and (iv) a statement of authority and good-faith belief. We may restrict content or access and may terminate repeat infringers.
We may add, change, or remove features; impose limits; or suspend access to protect the service or comply with law. We'll try to give reasonable notice of material changes.
Termination by us: We reserve the right to terminate the service entirely, or to terminate individual subscriptions, at our discretion if continuing service becomes commercially impractical or unprofitable. In such cases, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and will refund the pro-rata unused portion of any active subscription period. Top-ups are non-refundable as stated in Section 4.
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event. We don't exclude liability for fraud or for death/personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights aren't affected.
